Elegance Coral - Catalaphyllia Jardinei
Elegance Coral is a very beautiful coral that is often unfortunately poorly understood by Aquarists. This coral is naturally found alongside macro algae such as sea grasses. This coral does not therefore appreciate being put into a nutrient depleted Acropora tank! It is best kept in tanks with a little bit of nitrates, but still however with zero phosphates. It does not require extreme lighting and will survive well under moderate lighting as opposed to metal halide lighting if placed correctly. Prices range between £100 - £150 depending on size.
